Domaine Arnaud Tessier is a 7.5 hectares domaine, located in Côte de Beaune, Burgundy. Arnaud Tessier manages the vineyards according to organic principles, but without certification.

Arnaud Tessier’s wines may be characterized as concentrated but tensile that unfold slowly and reward bottle age.

The three top wines of the domaine are: Meursault Premier Cru Charmes-Dessus, Meursault Premier Cru Genevrières, and Meursault Premier Cru Porusots-Dessus.

The Meursault Premier Cru Charmes-Dessus 2014 scored 94, the Meursault Premier Cru Genevrières 2017 scored 92 - 94, and the Meursault Premier Cru Porusots-Dessus 2017 scored 91 - 93 by the Wine Advocate.

Tasting wines of the domaine Robert Parker said: “Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting, the 2014 Meursault Premier Cru Charmes Dessus has a rich and generous bouquet with walnut and smoky aromas developing in the glass. Behind that is a flintiness that lends it an almost Puligny-like allure. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh in the mouth with touches of almond and coconut developing toward the elegant finish. This is a sophisticated, quite sensual Meursault Charmes that lives up to its name. It is one of the finest wines that I have tasted from Domaine Arnaud Tessier.”

Domaine Arnaud Tessier’s winemaker is Arnaud Tessier, who took over the domaine back in 2006.

Arnaud Tessier has been assisting his father since he was 14, learning the art of winemaking. After the sudden death of his father, he took control of the winery being 22 years old. His wife, Catherine, actively participates in the work on the domaine, bringing knowledge and best practices from the other domaines.

Domaine Arnaud Tessier is farmed according to an organic principle, but without certification yet. Arnaud Tessier controls yields by taking off the extra flowers during the season of flowering. The winemaker devotes a lot of time to the work in the vineyard.

The oldest of their vines are in the Charmes Dessus and Poruzot Dessus, planted just after World War II.

Arnaud invests in new equipment: a new press and new fermenting tanks have already been bought, and many more investments are planned.
