Domaine André Moingeon & Fils is a 10 hectares estate located in Saint-Aubin, Burgundy. The winemaker is Florent Moingeon, who farms the vineyards according to the organic concepts since 2012, but without certification.

On Cellar Tracker the Saint-Aubin Premier Cru Les Frionnes Blanc 2013 scored 93, the Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru La Garenne 2008 scored 91, and the Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Vergers 2014 scored 90.

Since 2009 Florent Moingeon, the son of Michel Moingeon, has been managing Domaine André Moingeon & Fils and working on improving the quality of the wines. Florent Moingeon also updated both the cellar equipment and the work of the vineyards.

The roots of the domaine go back to André Moingeon in 1950, but at that time no bottle was produced and grapes were sold in bulk. Only in 1973, when André’s Moingeon sons joined the family estate, the three men found together SCE (European Cooperative Society) Moingeon André et Fils, and began to produce and bottle wines.

Domaine André Moingeon & Fils vineyards have been farmed according to organic concepts since 2012, but without certification.

The red grapes are completely destemmed. Though Florent Moingeon could be tempted to try some whole bunches on the Blagny Le Trézin.

The wines are matured in barrels with 20 percent of new wood, for 12 months for the whites and 18 months for the reds.
