The domaine was initially established by Bernard Légland in 1979. However, it was bought by
Laurent Ternynck and Marie-Noëlle Ternynck in 2013.

Marie-Noëlle Ternynck had been producing for some years at the Domaine de Mauperthuis.
The Chablis Valmur Grand Cru is made from purchased grapes. The Chablis Premier Cru Montmains is entirely from the Butteaux area.
