Robert Parker’s tasting notes on the Chablis Premier Cru Butteaux Mise Tardive 2015 are: “From bottle, the 2015 Chablis 1er Cru Butteaux Mise Tardive has realized all the promise it displayed during its lengthy élevage. Unfurling in the glass with aromas of pear, wheat toast, fresh pastry, wet stones, confit citrus and a light touch of reduction, it's full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with a deep, multidimensional core, racy acids and an immensely long finish. This is a singular wine that ranks as one of Thomas Pico's finest achievements to date”.
History
2005
The roots of Domaine Pattes Loup go back to 2005. Thomas Pico is a modern descendant of a winemaker's family, who succeeded his parents and changed the domaine’s name. Initially it was Domaine Bois d'Yver and became Domaine Pattes Loup. The new name of the domaine refers to a plot, which Thomas Pico’s grandfather planted in 1954.
Approach
