Domaine Pinson Frères is a 12 hectares family estate in Chablis, Burgundy. Charlène Pinson is the winemaker of the domaine, she farms the vineyards according to the sustainable approach without being certified.

Robert Parker describes the tasting notes of the Chablis Premier Cru Forêts 2014: “Tasted blind at the Burgfest annual tasting, the 2014 Chablis 1er Cru Forêts from Pinson has quite an extravagant bouquet with scents of guava and passion fruit, although it manages to retain the essence of Chablis with slate-like aromas underneath. The palate is fresh on the entry with very fine balance, well-judged acidity, harmonious and tensile with just a touch of mandarin on the exit. This is a very well-crafted Chablis that appeared to keep on improving in the glass. Bon vin/Bon Chablis”.

Today the négociant and wine growing Domaine Pinson Frères is managed by Charlène Pinson, who succeeded her father - Laurent Pinson, in 2008.

The domaine was formerly known as Domaine Louis Pinson, with a fabulous old-style winemaker, who retired in 1983. At that time Laurent Pinson and Christophe Pinson came to the estate after winegrowing studies at Beaune.

Till 2009 Domaine Pinson Frères was greatly extended and new technologies were applied.

The grapes are harvested and sorted twice by hand. The fermentation is carried out with natural yeasts in stainless steel vats. Then the wines are matured in wood barrels.
