Robert Parker’s tasting notes on the Chablis Premier Cru Beauroy 2020: “The 2020 Chablis Premier Cru Beauroy bursts from the glass with aromas of apricot, peach and citrus mingled with fresh bread, toasted almonds and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, ample but precise, with tangy acids and a saline finish, it's another lovely wine from the Tribut family.”
History
Currently, the winemaking of the Domaine Laurent Tribut is managed by Laurent Tribut and his three daughters: Solange Tribut, Adéline Tribut and Gabriel Tribut. Laurent Tribut became the winemaker after he has married Marie-Clotilde Dauvissat, the daughter of René Dauvissat. Laurent Tribut began to make his own wine in 1987 and in 1991 established the current domains’ cellar in Poinchy.
Approach
Sustainable
Domaine Laurent Tribut is managed according to the sustainable approach, without certification.
Winemaking methods of Laurent Tribut are similar to those of René Dauvissat, as for some time wines were actually made in the Dauvissat cellars and in the same manner. Even after moving to his own cellar in Poinchy he has remained the same René Dauvissat’s approach.
The grapes are hand-harvested. The fermentation processes take place in temperature-controlled enamel tanks. Before the bottling, fining is done for 5 to 6 weeks. At the time of bottling, light filtration is done.
There are usually two bottlings of each wine conducted as cellar space is limited.
