Robert Parker’s tasting notes on the Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2010 are: “The 2010 Criots-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru has an elegant nose, quite feminine with well-integrated oak (90 percent new for 9 months.) With further investigation there are attractive orange-blossom scents intermingling with grilled almonds. The palate is well-balanced with hints of praline and citrus peel, building to a confident and cohesive finish. This is a fine Criots, drinking perfectly now. Drink now-2019+.”

Approach
Sustainable
Domaine Roger Belland vineyards are farmed according to the non-certified sustainable approach.
The work in the vineyards is done manually. The harvest is sorted on the sorting table in a very rigorous manner. Transporting is conducted in boxes that allow to vinify beautiful whole bunches.
Both maceration and fermentation are carried out at low temperatures.
The wines are matured in oak barrels.
