Robert Parker’s tasting notes on the Pommard 2019: “The 2019 Pommard is showing nicely, revealing aromas of sweet red berries and plums mingled with subtle hints of raw cocoa and spices. Medium-bodied, velvety and seamless, it's succulent and charming, with a vibrant core of fruit, refined tannins and a mouthwatering finish. This, too, is a fine success.”

Approach
Certified sustainable by HVE
The vineyards of Domaine Charles Père & Fille are farmed following the sustainable approach, certified by HVE.
The harvesting is done by hand. After the sorting on the sorting table, the grapes are being destemmed and then vatted from 10 to 15 days. The punching down is done manually followed by pneumatic pressing. Ageing is done in French oak barrels.
The reds are aged on the lees and then filtered before bottling.
