Domaine Jean-Marc Millot is located in Nuits-Saint-Georges. The current winemaker is the enthusiastic Alix Millot who is a biodynamic farming follower.

Robert Parker’s tasting notes on the Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Suchots 2012 are: “The 2012 Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru Les Suchots is the best of the 2012s that I tasted from Jean-Marc. It comes from a 0.28-hectare parcel of 40-year-old vines. It has a lovely, open-knit, fresh bouquet with hints of tomato- vine informing the lifted cherry fruit. The palate is elegant and harmonious with judicious use of oak, forming a feminine and focused Les Suchots with a focused and taut finish that bodes well for the future. Drink 2016-2028”.

Since 2016 Alix Millot has been the winemaker of the Domaine Jean-Marc Millot. Her father, Jean-Marc Millot, did not retire, he still plays a supporting role. The estate includes holdings in Cote de Nuits, including important holdings in Vosne-Romanée of premier cru “Les Suchots'', and three holdings in grand cru vineyards: Echézeaux, Clos de Vougeot, and Grands Echézeaux.

Alix Millot produces wines in the new, recently-developed winery in Nuits-Saint-Georges.

The grapes are destemmed and sorted on the sorting table. During 15 days, before the fermentation, the grapes are given a cold soak with pumping over and a few punching down. In 15 days after fermentation, the wines are sent to the barrels. Domaine Jean-Marc Millot prefers to use 20 percent of new wood for village and premiers crus wines, 30 percent for the grands crus.
