Château l'Escart is a 37 hectares estate located in Saint-Loubès, Bordeaux. The vineyard covers 37 hectares of plots which have been farmed according to organic and biodynamic approaches, certified Ecocert and Demeter since 2005. The property belongs to Gérard Laurent, whose wines are excellent balanced.

Château l'Escart produces nice red wines: Château l'Escart Bordeaux Supérieur, Agapé, Cuvée Omar Khayyam, Cuvée Prestige Julien, Cuvée Puits du Roy and Cuvée Eden. There is also one white wine - Comtesse Bordeaux.

On CellarTracker Château l'Escart Bordeaux Supérieur 2012 scored 91, Cuvée Agapé 2011 and Cuvée Omar Khayyam 2011 scored 90.

History

Château l'Escart is owned by Gérard Laurent, whose philosophy is to produce authentic wines. The château’s motto is: “Produce wines of exceptional quality whilst respecting the land which is on loan to us from our children”.
