History
Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay is owned by Philippe Duvernay and his partner Laura Coffinet. Though the Coffinet sisters - Laura and Fabienne are responsible for winemaking. They took over from their parents - Fernand Coffinet and Cécile Coffinet. Philippe Duvernay’s and Laura Coffinet’s son - Bastien Duvernay joined the family estate.
The roots of the domaine go back to the mid 1800's.
Approach
Domaine Coffinet-Duvernay vineyards and cellars are under the strict control of Philippe Duvernay. The vinification consists of the grapes’ pneumatic pressing. The juice is left for an overnight natural settling of the lees in the tank.
